Faith Christian Academy believes that overseas and stateside mission trips can play a pivotal role in helping young people develop a heart for serving and loving others.
In 2008 and 2009, students and adult chaperones spent a week volunteering at Puerto Rico Christian School. The team worked as teacher aides and performed odd jobs, such as painting, landscaping, and picking up trash. Mostly, the students formed life-altering relationships with the students by showing and receiving unconditional love.
In 2010, Faith Christian sent a team to work at Christian Academy of Guatemala during spring break. The students volunteered at the school and also visited orphanages to care for children. This year, students will be selected to visit Guatemala for a week of serving the Lord.
