We know there’s more to learning than just math and language arts.
Our school administrator meets one-on-one with students to learn about their interests, then recruits teachers and experts in those fields to teach the courses. The goal is for students to explore areas of interest, step out of their comfort zone, and become more familiar with under-appreciated arts and skills.
The internship preparation program begins with two days of mentoring in communication, leadership, and life skills. Students will meet business leaders, learn how to write a resume, and learn social dining etiquette. The next 3 days are spent interning with local businesses.
January 2019 programs include:
- Culinary Arts
