Faith Christian Academy was full of excitement on Monday, October 27, as elementary students and teachers celebrated Literacy Day with a variety of fun, educational, and imaginative activities. The celebration was made even more special by a visit from students in the Education Department at Liberty University who led interactive lessons designed to deepen the students’ understanding of stories and foster a love for reading.

The students enjoyed the fire trucks, big trucks, tractors, police cars, emergency vehicles, and equipment. They could climb on them and ask questions, and honk the horns, so it was a day of excitement for everyone. There were lots of smiles.

On Friday, October 24, Faith Christian Academy had a fun family event with a purpose. They held a Pink Out Night in support of Breast Cancer Awareness with the volleyball teams. FCA raised $650.00 to donate to Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center in Lynchburg. Admission to the game was a donation.

On September 22 FCA Middle and Varsity teams played CH Friend. Faith Christian Academy middle school won in 2 sets: FCA 27-CH Friend 25 and FCA 25-CH Friend 20.
