Faith Christian Academy bake off and picnic held in Hurt

Faith Christian Academy kicked off the new school year with a new event, the school’s first-ever FCA Bake Off, held during its annual Back-to-School Picnic. The event brought together families, students, and staff for an evening of fun, fellowship, and homemade desserts.

Participants competed in five dessert categories: Cake, Pie, Cookies, Bars & Brownies, and No-Bake. Attendees had the opportunity to sample each entry and vote for their favorites, making for a lively and delicious competition that showcased both school spirit and impressive baking skills.

The event saw a strong turnout, and the creativity and quality of the entries didn’t disappoint. Organizers shared that the bake off was a fun and meaningful way to bring the school community together and start the year with joy. Based on the success of this first event, Faith Christian Academy hopes to make the bake off an annual tradition.
